Celebration of Excellence Banquet
2025 Illinois State Scholars
Each year, ROE #12 is pleased to honor the senior students of our five-county region who have earned the designation of 'Illinois State Scholar.' Statewide, only about 10% of seniors earn that honor. A combination of SAT scores and high school grade point average are combined and used to create a Weighted Scale Score which, if high enough, earns the student the designation. Since 2000, ROE #12 has been proud to honor these outstanding students with an evening of inspiration and celebration.
Scenes From the 2025 Banquet
The 2025 Celebration of Excellence Banquet was held at the Robinson Community Center on March 6, 2025. Guest speaker for the evening was President of Lincoln Trail College and Red Hill High School alumnus, Tona Ambrose. More than 160 students, school administrators, and guests were in attendance to celebrate the accomplishments of 56 State Scholars from nine of our eleven public high schools.
